Little Coen's first Christmas traditions have finally began!

First on the list is Germany's Adventkalender. Continue reading to see a full list of the 24 toys and crafts I made and bought for my little one!

In Germany it's tradition to have an advent calendar every December with little gifts, candies and goodies. It's not very usual for a 7 month old to have them, but I really wanted to start this tradition when my little peanut was born. I first went online and checked out different types of Advent Calendars in the market. The only ones for babies that I could find where full of toy cars from Vtech and one from PIXI Book.

Instead of taking the easy road, I decided to get creative and make my own. I packed a mix of little things I collected weeks before, sensory activities, coupons for trips and books and more!

Nachdem ich diverse Online-Foren durchforstet habe, steht fest, dass ich dieses Jahr selber einen Adventskalender basteln werde. Es gibt zwar fertige von Vtech Cars und PIXI Bilderbuch zu kaufen, ich habe mich jedoch aller DIY dazu entschieden einen selber zu befuellen. Also wurde das gute alte Pinterest zu Rat gefragt und es entstand ein Kalendermix aus kleinen Geschenkchen und sensorischen Spielchen.
